This image goes along with my Interrupted Landscape Series. The hoop surrounds a deep black hole in the ground which is suppose to lead to a mysterious place. The model is restraining himself to falling in, and at the same time looks curious to what is down there. This is image is suppose to represent him holding himself up, and restrain the the want to giving in. He won't let himself fall below the surface.
